Katie

Katie is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with over 15 years of experience working across a range of practice areas in both general practice and emergency settings. She holds a degree in Veterinary Nursing, a Nurse’s Certificate in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition, and a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing Emergency and Critical Care. Katie has a strong interest in patient and client care and is passionate about supporting animals and their owners through all stages of treatment.

Alongside her clinical work, she has supported veterinary nursing students in practice as a clinical coach, helping them develop confidence and practical skills in a real-world setting. In 2023, she began teaching Animal Management part time alongside her clinical role, reducing her practice hours to combine both careers.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking, ski jumping, sailing, spending time outdoors, and being at home with her cat, Puffin.
