I started my veterinary career in 2018 as a receptionist. In 2021, I joined Portchester Vets as a Veterinary Care Assistant, progressed to a student veterinary nurse, and qualified as an RVN in 2025. My key interests are canine behaviour, surgical nursing and anaesthesia.

I'm particularly drawn to canine behaviour, finding practical ways to help anxious or unsure dogs feel more relaxed - sometimes it just takes patience, a gentle approach, and the right treats! I also hold a Fear Free certificate, which focuses on reducing stress for patients and ensuring their visits are as positive as possible.

I've always loved animals, and my Border Collie, Hunter, inspired me to persue veterinary medicine and focus on compassionate, individualised care. He sparked my interest in behaviour and understanding how to help patients feel more at ease. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks with Hunter - rain or shine - and spending my free time baking and taking photos.
